Blue Edge:
Youth Maritime Bootcamp
Blue Edge: Youth Maritime Bootcamp is the talent-development and workforce pipeline of Africa's Blue Harvest Program (ABHP).
It is the entry point where young people are identified, trained, certified, mentored, and connected to opportunities across Africa's emerging blue economy.
"Blue Edge is not a standalone course, it is the human-capital engine that continuously supplies ABHP with skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators, and future maritime leaders."

Capturing the Opportunity
The global ocean economy valued at roughly US$2.6 trillion in 2020 and among the largest sectors in the world is expanding fast, and NIMASA estimates Nigeria's untapped potential at around US$296 billion.
Capturing that opportunity requires a new generation of well-trained, industry-ready professionals equipped with practical skills, innovation, entrepreneurship, and global competence.
That is the mission of Blue Edge.

The greatest barrier to unlocking Nigeria's untapped blue economy potential estimated at nearly US$296 billion isn't ships, ports, or capital.
It's opportunity.
Thousands of capable young people have the ambition to build careers in this new blue economy but no pathway in. Blue Edge: Youth Maritime Bootcamp is that pathway. We find promising young talent, train them in real, industry-relevant skills, certify them to recognized standards, mentor their character and leadership, and connect them directly to jobs and enterprise.
